An overview of a multifamily housing model started in Denmark and brought to the United States in the late 1980's. Cohousing combines a collaborative and cooperative community of private residences with common spaces, activities and governance (no shared income). Examples in the U.S. will be discussed. Resources will be recommended for attendees to use as follow-up.

Early Childhood Family Education is a program of information and support for you and your child from birth through 4 years old. Located in family centers throughout the community, the ECFE program is staffed by qualified teachers who are licensed in Early Childhood and/or Parent Education.

ECFE offers: · Parent group discussions · Parent-child activities · Early childhood education · Toy and book lending libraries ECFE classes meet: 1.5 hours a day, 1 day a week: MONDAY - THURSDAY.
